Allan passed away peacefully on the afternoon of March 15 at the age of 83 at Richmond Hospital. Allan was born in Vancouver, B.C. to Carl and Agnes Olson and lived his life in Richmond. Allan attended Richmond High School, and according to his annual, was the “Marlon Brando” of his class. After graduating, Allan began his 41 year career with Canadian Pacific Airlines. He diligently worked his way up to become the Manager of Contracts and Warranties. Due to his exemplary work ethic and expertise, Allan was recruited by Air Canada when the two companies merged. After retirement, Allan enjoyed gardening, reading, and spending time with his family. He was an expert tomato and flower grower, and his garden was always immaculate. Allan was always a generous and dependable support for his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed by his wife Josie, children Lance and Anita, son-in-law Kevin, and grandchildren Graydon and Karli.
Allan passed away from lung cancer, although he never smoked and did not work in industry.
