It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Edward Hurst on February 16, 2021 at the age of 89. His love for his family and friends has left a positive impact on everyone's life and he will be missed daily. He was a husband to Dorothy, father and father in-law to Graham, Kathleen, Allison, Karen, Dave and Grant. He was Grandfather to Hollie, Kristin, Adam, Courtney, Jason, Daniel and Julia. He was Great-Grandfather to Gavin, Sadie, Nathan, Hannah, Adley, Carter and Lily. He was a brother to David as well as an amazing Uncle and friend.

A celebration of life will be held once it's safer to gather. The family sends a heartfelt thank you for all the kind words and happy memeories that everyone has shared.

 Through this page, we hope to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. I embrace this mission and hope you do to.  With continued support for the Society, fewer people in the future will have to lose their loved ones before their time.
