Through this page, I hope to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. With continued support for the Society, fewer people in the future will have to lose their loved ones before their time.
Jack Morris was a beloved associate at Mississauga West Home Depot for 16 years. He was a big-hearted man with a kind and generous soul. He loved a joke, and, dare I say it, had an eye for the ladies! He loved working here, serving customers and sharing his knowledge and expertise. He was essential to the smooth running of the Paint department, teaching new associates, making suggestions on how to run the desk more efficiently and keeping us all on our toes.
Jack worked in almost all of the departments over his 16 year tenure, and was often seen helping customers throughout the store.
Throughout his long illness, Jack simply wanted to become well enough to be able to come back to work. He has had a particularly sorrowful time over the last 2 years, and has come to regard his fellow associates as his Home Depot family.
Jack was certainly that to me, and I am certain all of you that knew him have special memories. We will have a board in the lunchroom set up with paint chips for you to write your memories on, and then pin them up.
Thank you for your generosity of spirit. We shall miss Jack. He certainly has left a very large hole.
Every donation to Jack's page brings us one step closer to preventing cancer, detecting it earlier, improving treatments and helping Canadians live longer, healthier lives.
Together, we can change cancer forever.
All funds donated through this page will support the work of the Canadian Cancer Society. The Society makes more impact, against more cancers, in more communities, than any other cancer charity in Canada.
