Kai Yung Lai (née Wan) passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017, in her 92nd year. Kai Yung was the beloved daughter of Chuck Wen and Ngok Wah Wan, wife of Chung Ko Lai, loving mother to Ron and his wife Danielle, Konny and his wife Anne, Daniel and his wife So-Yee, Julian and his wife Wendy, and grandmother to Jonathan, Andrew, and Meagan.

Visitation will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, Toronto) on Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 from 5:00-8:00 pm. The funeral service will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, Toronto) on Thursday, March 30th, 2017 at 10:30 am. Reception to follow the burial service at Pine Hills Cemetery will be held at Century Palace Chinese Restaurant (398 Ferrier Street, Unit 168, Markham, intersection Warden/Steeles).
