Karin Kelly (Maier) passed away on January 4, 2021 after a long battle with metastatic kidney cancer.  She was 63 years old.  

It would be wrong to say that Karin lost her battle because she never stopped fighting.  No matter how sick, she gracefully carried on, always adapting.  When anyone else would have broken, Karin stayed strong continuing to work, never complained and maintained her witty sarcasm right up to her final moments. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.

Karin, daughter of the late Fred Maier (Rose) and Gisela Maier, is survived by her husband, Pat, and her children, Shawn and Jessica.  As expressions of sympathy, donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated by the family.
