At the beginning of February, Len was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer of an unknown origin. Shortly after starting chemo, it was determined the cancer was too quick and too aggressive for treatment to be a viable option. On the afternoon of March 12, he passed peacefully at Trenton Memorial Hospital while being held by his wife Mary, and his children Michael and Jennifer.
My dad showed his incredible sense of humor and strength right til the end. We are overwhelmed with grief that his life was tragically cut short just a few months shy of his 64th birthday.
Every donation brings us one step closer to preventing cancer, detecting it earlier, improving treatments and helping Canadians live longer, healthier lives.
All funds donated through this page will support the work of the Canadian Cancer Society. The Society makes more impact, against more cancers, in more communities, than any other cancer charity in Canada.
