George passed peacefully on May 13th, 2020, after many mighty struggles with too many different kinds of cancer.  He was a fighter, and he benefited from different cancer treatments on his journey, to find another 20 years with his loved ones - with much better quality of life than one might have imagined.  He was a very good man, who will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Through this page, I hope to raise funds for the Canadian Cancer Society whose mission is the eradication of cancer and the enhancement of the quality of life of people living with cancer. I embrace this mission and hope you do to.  With continued support for the Society, fewer people in the future will have to lose their loved ones before their time.

All funds donated through this page will support the work of the Canadian Cancer Society.  The Society makes more impact, against more cancers, in more communities, than any other cancer charity in Canada. 

George was generous to a fault - giving from the sweat of his brow, his pocket and his heart to any who asked, and often to many who didn't.  Your donation, in lieu of other acts of condolence, is greatly appreciated.
