Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, Rebecca Sue Musgrove, passed away at age 32 on Thursday, December 8, 2022 after a short but fierce battle with cancer at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary AB. We were not expecting her time with us to end so soon, and she will be forever missed by all who knew her.
Rebecca was born in Brooks, AB and graduated from St Joseph's Collegiate. After completing her nursing degree at the University of Lethbridge, she worked first at the Brooks Hospital and then for the last several years in the operating room at South Health Campus in Calgary.
Rebecca will always be remembered with love by her partner Brandon Ball; her parents, Stewart and Lenita Musgrove; her sisters Amanda Musgrove (Curtis Metzger) and Calin Kostyshyn (J.P. Kostyshyn); her niece Jasper and nephews Calvin and John; grandmothers Annie Musgrove and Edith Warman; and many extended family members and friends.
Rebecca leaves behind her beloved animals: she was always caring for an abandoned calf, injured chicken, or a pet that needed attention. She loved hiking in the mountains, hunting for fossils and was a certified scuba diver, visiting sites from Lake Newell to Hawaii.
