Family fighting cancer

My sister-in-law, grandparents, friends and now my cousin have all had to fight this killing machine.
My grandfather passed on with cancer and I didn't know anything about it until my friend came to me in 2007 and told me that her husband had testicular cancer. I was stunned and asked a million questions. I said, "Wow, he is young to have this."
In 2008, I found out that my sister-in-law had ovarian cancer, my cousin has bone cancer and a little boy that my three year old daughter goes to daycare with has leukemia. I then broke down asking, "Why all this people?"
I am happy to say that my friend's husband and my sister-in-law are doing fine. My cousin is still going through treatment and awaiting a bone marrow transplant and the little boy is still fighting. We are having a fundraiser for the family as both parents have been laid off and the insurance company is not co-operating.
I thank God everyday for my health and that is why a little obesity on my part will not stop me from doing the Relay For Life in my city and try to raise as much money as I can. Maybe one day this will save the life of my child, grandchild and their offspring.
I think if you can do it, let's help out in any way, shape or form.
