I was just wandering by a small display and I ws captivated.

I was out with friends to a community events fair. We strolled through a small community center filled with displays of upcoming events and small business information. I happened upon a table with Cancer Society flyers. I looked up and was captivated by a video about the Relay for Life.

Something about the people, the stories and the spirit of it, caught my interest. Before I knew it, my two friends were beside me. The three of us became teary but couldn't step away from the video. In the previous 2 years each of us lost a parent or friend from Cancer.

Before we left that day, we joined a team and have been doing it since. This will be the 7th year.
