He was a great outdoorsman, strong and full of energy...til one day he awoke with a headache that just wouldn't go away.

My dear, late husband worked hard, had all the material things & toys a man likes to own & a loving family to go along with it.
He was 44 yrs old when the headaches started & wouldn't stop..CT scan showed a brain tumor of the most aggressive kind. Within days he had surgery & started chemo & radiation. He was the strong determined one, while I cried & agonized over this cancer in his brain. He just grew more determined to fight. He lived his life as full as possible around treatments & appts. He spent as much time as he could with his 2 little grandaughters all the while his sight became dimmer & dimmer. He faught for 2yrs & 8 months...he was the bravest person I've ever known and he was loved tremendously.
I Relay so our grandaughters can take part & see this as another way to fight & remember their brave poppy.
