I have decided to join relay for life for many reasons. The most important reason is to show my support to our students that battle cancer or have lost their own family members to this disease.

Being a mother to three healthy children reminds me to count my blessings every day. As a teacher at St. Martin's Catholic school, I know students that have had to endure this horrible disease or have lost their parents to it. I am joining relay for life this year to support our students, staff and school community so that one day this generation may grow in a world where cancer no longer exists. I want our students and my own children to live and learn in a world where they never have to fear cancer!
