Why I Relay

I have always been part of Relay for Life in memory of our son Scott and in memory of a little "butterfly" Maddy. This year I am a person fighting cancer -
I was diagnosed with cancer and within 2 months have had 2 treatments. Things have worked very quickly for me.
I was one of those who didn't want to have a mammogram - so now I am one of those whose cancer has spread because the diagnosis was late. I have to live with that and trust that with today's technology I will be OK thanks to money spent on research. Please get your annual checkups and mammograms, they save lives.
