Why I relay
I relay for my son.
My son was diagnosed with Lymphoma when he was 12. He developed 2 types of Leukemia within the year, even after a bone marrow transplant that was in thanks to his sister. He didn't want her to go thru with the transplant because he didn't want her to be in pain for him. That’s just the way he was.
He laughed and talked with us until the end, day 101 from the transplant. He was 13, and the bravest person I have ever met. I am at peace knowing that we will spend eternity together, and he isn't in pain anymore.
