I relay for my mom.
Two years ago my mom passed away due to Cancer.
I have been relaying for years. When I started it was for my Grandfather who passed away due to cancer after fighting it for thirteen years and having three different types. Then two years ago this August my mom suddenly became ill. Within two weeks of her being sick we were told she had stage 4 malignant lung/heart cancer. We were told on Friday the 13th. On the 15th she passed away. Now we are waiting to hear if my sister has cancer.
The only bright spot is that my stepmom is a breast cancer survivor. This is why I run.
I don't want anyone else to lose their parent to this monster.
