Why Me
Cancer has impacted my life tremendously
Cancer has impacted my life tremendously the last 4 years. My mom was diagnosed in 2008, went for her surgery in 2009 and is thankfully a survivor. She is the main reason I am doing this walk. I also wanted to do it for My Bab Lupul (Grandmother) in September 2011 my Baba fell and broke her arm. She ended up staying in Hospital for a few weeks, towards the middle of October she took a turn for the worse. We found out that she had cancer 1 day before she passed away (they gave her 3 weeks) both my Mom and Baba are two of the most important ladies of my life. My Mom is seriously the strongest person I know. She is the one who put together our team. I feel this is the least I can do for her. She is an amazing lady and I couldn’t imagine my life without her. I couldn’t be more proud of her!
