My Sister in-law Ricci has Stage 4 Colon Cancer, and she is one of the strongest people I know in my life, but the love and support of others would help tremendously.

Ricci has been fighting stage 4 colon cancer since February 2012. We have bonded together as a family, but it has been incredibly difficult for Ricci and my brother, Leo, both personally & financially, as they struggle to deal with what cancer continues to deliver to their lives. Ricci has survived 2 surgeries and is currently going through 12 weeks of aggressive chemotherapy treatments, however, another surgery is taking place in July. As a residual side effect of the surgeries, Ricci is unable to walk without the use of a cane. Fatigue and pain prevent her from working. She does not qualify for E.I. And long-term disability is not an option until February 2013. They are reaching out to family and friends for love and support, and not just financially. Knowing so many people are praying for her recovery will mean the world to them both.
