I walk to help
Hi Everyone! I've wanted to add to my page here for sometime but was going to wait to get a picture to add to this but I can't seem to get around to that so I just want to let everyone know why I walk in the Relay!
Just over 3 years ago I lost my mom to this terrible disease, I walk in the relay to help fill the hole that this has left on not only my but all my family's lives. I walk for my dad who has survived his battle but is now without his lifelong friend and partner. I walk for my grandkids that never had the chance to meet this wonderful woman. I walk for my sisters especially Anne who has lost her shopping buddy. I walk for my kids, my nieces and nephews who have lost their Nana! But despite the huge hole that this disease has caused in our lives, I walk because it is a way to fight back and hopefully save someone else from feeling this loss. So please....
