Continuing the fight.

I Relay because my husband fought so hard and this is my way of continuing the fight.

I lost both my husband and brother-in-law to cancer. They were both amazing family men. My husband was diagnosed in May of 2009 and my brother-in-law in December of 2009. Unfortunately my sister and I live in different provinces and had to try and support each other through telephone conversations, emails, and many, many texts. My husband was such a strong man and we fought so hard to stop this. In addition to the chemo and radiation we researched and tried every "super" food that supposedly had any cancer-fighting properties. My daughters and I have to believe that a cure can be found and that is why we Relay.
