Four times is too much!

1973
My story starts when I was a young 33 year old mother of 3 working and feeling great. I noticed I had passed blood upon using the washroom. It turned out to be bowel cancer. I was operated on almost immediately and had about 1 foot of my colon removed. Many of my family members have polyps removed. Some were not so lucky and developed cancer and died. To this day, I still have polyps removed. A very careful examination of the bowel is necessary to keep ahead of this. I was a survivor!

1990
One day while in hospital for my usual bowel examination, I asked my doctor to remove a skin tag off my face while I slept. He did so and much to his surprise and mine it came back as cancer. Cauterization was treatment. I was a survivor!

2001
I had my regular mammogram. My doctor called to say he was worried and wanted me to see my surgeon for a biopsy. My God, it's cancer again. Treatment was lumpectomy and 16 treatments of radiation and 5 years of Tamoxifan. I was a survivor!

2003
Yes, I was just starting to smile again then BOOM another mammogram and another cancer. This was a primary cancer on my other side. Treatment was 4 rounds of chemo and 16 rounds of radiation. All my family, freinds, husband were all there for me. These battles are the reason I RELAY! Once again I am a Survivor!!!!
