Host a Daffodil Pin workplace fundraiser this April
Each April, Society celebrates Daffodil Month. It is an opportunity for Canadians to support those who are currently fighting the disease and learn about cancer and risk reduction.
The daffodil has long been recognized as the symbol of hope in the fight against cancer and each year, the Society asks all Ontarians to wear a daffodil pin proudly in honour of those battling cancer today or in memory of those lost to this disease. Hosting a Daffodil Month fundraiser at your workplace is one of the easiest ways for you and your employees to raise funds and awareness for the fight against cancer.
Hosting a Daffodil Month workplace fundraiser is easy here’s how:
- Make a donation to the Society relative to your total number of employees and provide them with daffodil pins to wear in April (suggested donation of $2 per employee), OR
- Order daffodil pins for your staff at no cost and encourage them to make a donation in exchange for a pin.
- Everything you need, including promotional posters and coin boxes, will be made available for your onsite promotion and contributions.
