Fighting the fight and not giving up

My brave husband

My brave husband
My husband was diagnosed with a brain stem tumour after losing over 100 pounds in 6 weeks!

Getting up to Cancer Each Day

I have hairy cell leukemia and was treated in 2008 with chemo...now will be having a "spleenectomy" in the near future.

Why I Relay

There are many reasons why I relay.

A terrible family legacy

Why do I relay, and why do I volunteer every year? Well, the short answer is that I would do anything in my power to wipe this vicious disease off the face of the earth, and volunteering is such an easy thing to do.

Why I relay? That's easy

As event Chair for Ottawa Relay for Life, I am inviting all of Ottawa to relay on Friday June 12 in Nepean, June 19 at either Orleans or Stittsville. Cancer impacts us all so come out and Celebrate, Remember and Fight back!

A valiant sister who lost, a determined mom who survives

A valiant sister who lost, a determined mom who survives
Tragically, after 10 years my sister lost her battle with cancer, and my mom has endured 3 rounds of this horrible disease and still marches on...we will keep "relaying/rallying" in honor of my sister and in proud awe of our mom.
