2019 Toronto Island Duathlon
I am a Cancer Fighter. I am taking action to change the future of this disease for my friends, family and Canadians nationwide. I am raising awareness and funds for the fight against cancer. I hope I can count on your support!
For the sixth consecutive year, I am participating in the Toronto Island Sprint Duathlon! (That is the plan, at least--the Lake Ontario water level is high like it was a couple years ago. If it gets any higher, I'll be forced to swim across the island.) On Sunday August 18, I will run 5 km, bike 20 km, and run another 2.5 km. My overall time last year wasn't as fast as I had hoped, so this year is about redemption!
Once again, I am proud to race in support of the Canadian Cancer Society. Please donate today and help me reach my fundraising goal! The money raised will help Canada’s brightest researchers make groundbreaking discoveries, provide cancer patients with much-needed support services and ensure that other life-changing work is possible.
Your generosity will help the Canadian Cancer Society to continue funding the most promising cancer research, advocate for health-protecting policies, and provide trusted information, resources and support for every Canadian affected by cancer.
Make your donation online – it’s fast, secure and will reduce administrative costs so more of your support goes towards the fight against cancer.
Thank you for your support!
Proceeds from my fundraiser will support Greatest need
