Let's shatter taboos and spread the word about the early detection of colorectal cancer. Together, we can dethrone it!

Although colorectal cancer is the 2nd deadliest cancer in Quebec, we don’t really hear about it much. The good news is: we can dethrone it!

When colorectal cancer is detected and treated at an early stage, the odds of survival after five years is over 90%. Whereas at a more advanced stage, the survival rate for this cancer is less than 10%.

Given that too many Quebecers still aren’t taking advantage of the FIT screening test, the Canadian Cancer Society is calling on them to help dethrone colorectal cancer by taking this test and spreading the word with their loved ones.
