Every day, 70 Canadians will hear the words “you have breast cancer.” On September 11, 2019, Lisa Roy (Me) was one, and 26 years ago, so was Cathy Beaulieu (my MOM).

Breast Cancer Fighters/Survivors are living longer, healthier lives after a breast cancer diagnosis. Cathy Beaulieu (my MOM) is proof!! She is active, healthy and an inspiration to me, especially now.  The fight has come a long way, but there is still so much work to be done. We don't want future generations to go through what we went through!

By participating in this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, we are joining a collective that is a force-for-life in the face of breast cancer. We are walking this year in honour of the incredible people in our lives and for Me
