The Blue Mountains/Collingwood: Together for Bev - CIBC Run for the Cure

The Blue Mountains/Collingwood

Together for Bev

We have come together as a team to support the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year.
On August 23, 2021, we lost a beautiful mom, wife, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to metastatic breast cancer. Bev was a bright light in this world full of energy, kindness, creativity and positivity. The world is a little less bright without her in it.
She had run in Run for the Cure many times, and even led the warmup the year after her diagnosis. She loved all things fitness related, so continuing to do Run for the Cure for her every year seems a very fitting way to celebrate her life and remember the impact she had on so many.
Bev received incredible care from the London Cancer Program. With your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and make a life-changing difference for so many people. Every dollar we raise will fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. Our hope is that this world will one day not have to lose any more bright lights like Bev, and that no other family and friends will have to know the pain of losing someone so special.
We are participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, because we believe better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. And we want to support all Canadians impacted by breast cancer, including our family and friends.
With your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. Together, we can create a future without breast cancer.
Please donate today. Help us give Canadians impacted by breast cancer a reason to have hope.
Thank you! We appreciate your generous support.
