On Sunday, September 30th, we will be participating in the 2018 Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation CIBC Run for the Cure.  The breast cancer cause is one that is very close to our hearts and we are proud to be working together to raise funds in support of it.  The CIBC Run for the Cure is Canada’s largest single-day, volunteer-led fundraising event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research, education, and advocacy initiatives. 

The money raised in the CIBC Run for the Cure will help support Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation funded researchers across the country.  Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation grant recipient Dr. Olga Kovalchuk and her collaborator, Dr. McDonald, are exploring the root causes of elevated rates of breast cancer in shift workers all over the world by investigating whether circadian rhythm disruption has a carcinogenic effect on breast tissue.  This is just one example of how the money we raise together will make a difference.  Learn more about how your support is making a difference by visiting the Your Impact section at www.cibcrunforthecure.com.
