For you, Sis.

Not a day goes by without the thought of my beautiful sister, Brenda. The thought of her blesses the start of my day and reminds me of her strength and resilience throughout her battle. Her power to carry herself the way she did during the most difficult time of her life was unmatched and extraordinarily admirable. The presence of her smile and kindness surrounds my heart each day as I continue this journey without her physically by my side. I hope she is proud of the life I've lived so far, and I hope to spread more love and strength on her behalf to those fighting the battle she fought so gracefully. 

 For Brenda, and to the beautiful warriors fighting this horrible disease, I pray that we can find a cure together.
