My cousin's (Dan Walli) daughter Laura Hales and I (Martha Walli) are living with breast cancer. We have come together as "Team Walli" to support the thousands of Canadians diagnosed with breast cancer every year. 
 
Laura is currently battling stage IV metastatic breast cancer. In her own words, her oncologist can only buy her time at this point, so the on-going research really gives her hope. I am still in the middle of treatment for an aggressive, but curable, "triple negative" cancer. Our journey through the medical system has been made less scary because of the Run for the Cure - your efforts count!
 
We are participating and fundraising for this year’s Canadian Cancer Society CIBC Run for the Cure, because we believe that even better treatment options and survival outcomes are possible. 
 
With your help, we can reach our fundraising goal and fund groundbreaking breast cancer research and support programs and services for those impacted by this disease. Together, we can create a future without breast cancer.
