On Sunday, October 6, 2024, Team *Pretty in Pink* will be participating in its 10th Canadian Breast Cancer CIBC Run for the Cure.  Since 2015 we have raised over $177,000.  Last year we raised a record breaking $32 678.

The team was started in 2015 shortly after my diagnosis. In June 2015 I was diagnosed and underwent a mastectomy in August 2015 I underwent a year long treatment of chemotherapy, radiation and immune therapy. In April 2017 I started my reconstruction procedures. In July of 2017 my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a lumpectomy. Later in October 2017 I completed my reconstruction. For my peace of mind, in 2019 I underwent another mastectomy with immediate reconstruction. Today, I am cancer free and so grateful for all the research dollars that literally saved my life. I promise to make breast cancer beatable.
