Hi everyone,

Many thanks to all of you who have supported Denise Puppi and the "Metastatic Breast Cancer Pink Hearts" over the years.

As you may know, on August 16, 2023 Denise Puppi passed away having fought Breast Cancer for the 2nd time with such strength, bravery and grace. Our founding captain touched everyone she met with her humility, genuineness, kindness and love. She will always be the Pink Hearts hero and will be missed immeasurably.

But Denise's passion and commitment to the Canadian Cancer Society and the CIBC Run For The Cure lives on through us - her team. 

The "Metastatic Breast Cancer Pink Hearts" is named to bring awareness to the importance of investing in research aimed at treating and beating Breast Cancer that has spread beyond the breast. Any donations you care to make to our team will be directed to these ground-breaking efforts within the Canadian Cancer Society. It was clear, through Denise's journey, that real progress is being made in new drugs and therapies that extend quality life. Hopefully, sooner than later, a cure will be found. 

The Metastatic Breast Cancer Pink Hearts will be organizing a physical team walk again this year. Please join us on October 6, 2024 at the North Maple Regional Park 11067 Keele Street Maple, ON.
