Event Information

Join us to raise money and awareness for the Canadian Cancer Society’s Kordyban Lodge in Prince George, British Columbia.

This year’s Climb for Cancer is on TBD. In the morning, individuals and teams will climb the iconic Cutbanks in the morning to show their support for the Kordyban Lodge and its guests. Teams are asked to sign up on this website, and our volunteers will call you to arrange a time to climb. Teams should arrive 5-10 minutes before their assigned time and sign in at Northern Lights Winery. Once signed in teams or individuals will walk 600 meters to the Cutbanks for their opportunity to climb the hill.

After your climb, join us at the Northern Lights Winery orchard to enjoy music, food, and fun. No tickets are required, and admission will be by donation. Listen to local artists while munching down on food. Parking is limited at the winery, but we have arranged for alternative parking at Pacific Western Brewing (PWB) with a shuttle bus traveling back and forth every 20 minutes.

Your dollars at work

The Kordyban Lodge is a friendly, caring place where where both staff and guests are sensitive to the financial, physical and emotional toll cancer takes. Services such as three nutritionally balanced meals each day, snacks, Wi-Fi, volunteer drive service, meditation and relaxation sessions, exercise facilities, and a wig and breast prosthesis bank are available to all.

The Climb for Cancer is an opportunity for you to help northerners through their cancer journey. Our long-term goal is too raise $70,000 to cover the operation costs of the Kordyban Lodge for one month. Every gift is a step closer to this goal.
