My name is Kris Kim and I am a member of the Abbotsford Police Department. This year, I am participating in Cops for Cancer to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.
Please pledge me and help me reach my fundraising goal! Every pledge takes us one step further in the fight against cancer. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
The Tour de Valley is a nine-day bike tour from Tsawwassen to Boston Bar and back. This year, from September 17 to September 25, our tour team of law enforcement personnel and guest riders will ride over 850 km throughout the Fraser Valley. They will be visiting many local schools and businesses to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer research and support Camp Goodtimes, a program for children and families living with cancer. Our goal this year is to raise over $600,000.
I am honoured to be part of this great event and thank you for your support.
