I am participating in the Cops For Cancer 2020 - Tour De Coast to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society.
The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.
I am now in my 29th year of policing, with my first 28 years serving with the Vancouver Police Department. Throughout the years I have seen many of my colleagues step up for this amazing cause and have seen the impact it has had on them and the people they are riding for. This time when the opportunity presented, the calling was too strong to ignore and I feel it's my time to give back. My 81 year old Father is a two time cancer survivor and it will be my honor to honor him and other people living with cancer by being a part of the Tour De Coast Team.
Please pledge me and help me reach my fundraising goal! Every pledge shows families who have a child with cancer that they do not have to face it alone. Online pledging is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society by reducing administrative costs.
Thanks for your support!
