My name is Nick Brown and I am a member of the Williams Lake RCMP where I have been posted since 2018. I am originally from Vancouver Island, and growing up the Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock was a major annual event that I looked forward to seeing each year. I have volunteered in the past to help fundraise for the ride, and this year I decided to fulfill my dream of riding with the Cops for Cancer. Cancer has touched my life with my mother being a breast cancer survivor and having lost a grandmother to cancer. While the physical challenges of this ride will be daunting, it is nothing compared to what kids go through while they fight cancer. I am committed to ending childhood cancer once and for all!
The money raised from Cops for Cancer Tour de North helps:
• fund leading-edge pediatric cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives;
• provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment;
• and supports our award-winning Camp Goodtimes.
Please donate and help us reach our fundraising goal! Every donation takes us one step further in the fight against pediatric cancer. Online donations are secure and save the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Thank you so much for your support!
