My name is Kevin WIEBE and I’ve been a Constable with the Williams Lake RCMP for over three years. The reason I joined Cops for Cancer Tour de North 2020 is because I’ve seen first hand the devastating effects of cancer and I want to contribute to the non-stop pursuit for a cure. In 2016-2017 I watched the city of Terrace rally behind my sister in-law as she battled leukemia. An immense fundraising effort by the community contributed to her living as long as she did. Although she lost her battle with cancer I never forgot the mass amount of people trying to help someone they didn’t even know. It moved me. And I want to return the favour.
The money raised from Cops for Cancer Tour de North helps:
• fund leading-edge pediatric cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives;
• provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment;
• and supports our award-winning Camp Goodtimes.
Please donate and help us reach our fundraising goal! Every donation takes us one step further in the fight against pediatric cancer. Online donations are secure and save the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
Thank you so much for your support!
