SHAVE or SAVE ???

The spring of 2020 was a time of global change.  For me, it was a time to let loose.  I decided to stop cutting my hair to see where it would go.  I endured endless ridicule (well-deserved I'll admit) during the next few years as I passed through the awkward stages of my journey.  What surprised me the most was just how polarizing this new style choice has become.  Some people think it suited me while others have begged me to GET A HAIRCUT on a weekly basis. 

This conflict created a unique opportunity which I'm calling: SHAVE or SAVE.  A group of colleagues are currently frantically raising funds in a race where the winner receives the prize of shaving my head at the closing ceremonies of the Cops for Cancer event in September.  HOWEVER, if I can raise the most money in the group then I will be able to avoid having my head shaved.  Soooooooo, if you want to SAVE my hair, donate to my page.  If you want to SHAVE my hair, donate to one of my colleagues.  Either way, the kids win!

I am participating in Cops for Cancer for which police officers and emergency services personnel from across Northern BC will ride 800km to support children and families living with cancer and beyond. 

The money raised from this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in fueling new pediatric cancer research discoveries and sending 600 kids each year to Camp Goodtimes, a medically-supervised recreation experience for children and teens affected by cancer and their families.
