I am participating in Cops for Cancer because they are raising money for kids with cancer.  A year ago my aunt Mimi and my cousin Michael died from having cancer.  Both of them were teachers, so I think they would like that I am raising money for kids with cancer.  I miss them both very much.  If I can raise $500 by the end of April, I will be shaving my head to honour the memory of Mimi, Michael and all of my other family members that have been affected by cancer. 

The money raised from this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in fueling new pediatric cancer research discoveries, sending 600 kids each year to Camp Goodtimes, providing support services such as counseling and advocating to improve the lives of children affected by cancer.
