I am participating in Tour De North for which police officers and emergency services personnel from across Northern BC will ride 800km to support children and families living with cancer and beyond.  This year the tour is riding from Prince George to Prince Rupert.  

The money raised from this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in fueling new pediatric cancer research discoveries and sending 600 kids each year to Camp Goodtimes, a medically-supervised recreation experience for children and teens affected by cancer and their families.

This is my 16th year in law enforcement and always something I wanted to do.  I spent 12 years with the BC Sheriff Service before joining RCMP in 2018.   I love spending time in the forest and on the golf course.  This is my first ride and is of special importance to me. My Uncle Larry just recently lost his battle with Cancer and in honour of his memory, I am dedicating my ride to him!!
