We are participating in Cops for Cancer through the helpmeburycancer fundraiser to support children and families living with cancer and beyond. Having six grandchildren, I can only imagine the challenges these families have. How can we not do our part to support them?

As a cancer survivor of a rare and agressive form of cancer from 2010-2013, I know only too well how we need to continue to support not just the person going through a cancer journey, but their family as well. The money raised from this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in fueling new pediatric cancer research discoveries, sending 600 kids each year to Camp Goodtimes, providing support services such as counseling and advocating to improve the lives of children affected by cancer.
