I am very excited to announce that I have been invited to ride alongside an incredible team for the Cops for Cancer 2024 Tour de Coast in September.

This year, Cops for Cancer will be cycling over 800 km in 8 days across varied terrains of the BC Coast and Greater Vancouver Area with a goal of raising $600,000 for pediatric cancer research.

The money raised from this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in fueling new pediatric cancer research discoveries and sending 600 kids each year to Camp Goodtimes, a local medically-supervised recreation experience for children and teens affected by cancer and their families.

Cancer has directly affected many of my family and close friends over the years. In 1997 my mother in-law was diagnosed with a brain tumor and only 13 years later after the brain tumor battle, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I am immensely grateful she was able to fight that battle a second time and beat cancer again. Unfortunately, in recent years, 3 of my family members have lost their battles with cancer.

No one, let alone children should have to suffer from cancer, that is why I am riding to raise awareness and funds for pediatric cancer research.

My goal is to reach $6000, please join us in bringing hope to those who need it most.
