We are participating in Cops for Cancer Tour de North for which police, enforcement agencies and emergency service personnel from across Northern BC will ride 800km to support children and families living with cancer and beyond.

Cancer touches us all in some way whether it be a family member, friend, or even a colleague who has been impacted by it. For me, cancer has been front and center over the last couple of years with my family and while I was always mindful of cancer and how it can affect people living with it and those around them, I now understand just how immense that impact can be. I am riding in the Tour de North this year in honour and support of my family, friends and everyone who has been impacted by cancer.

The Tour de North is our way of supporting an exceptional cause and every little bit helps in pediatric cancer research and sending kids suffering from their cancer to a place where they can just be kids!

The money raised from this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in fueling new pediatric cancer research discoveries and sending 600 kids each year to Camp Goodtimes, a medically-supervised recreation experience for children and teens affected by cancer and their families.
