We are participating in Cops for Cancer for which emergency service personnel from across Northern BC will ride 800km to support children and families living with cancer and beyond. 

Cancer sits close to my heart as I lost my best friend and glue to my entire family in less than three weeks to it. I am riding this year in honour of my family and for all who have been affected by this horrible disease.

The money raised from this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in fueling new pediatric cancer research discoveries and sending 600 kids each year to Camp Goodtimes, a medically-supervised recreation experience for children and teens affected by cancer and their families. I know a child who has personally attended this camp and it was life changing for them.

One child with cancer is one child too many. Nothing big gets solved by one person or one organization. To take on cancer, it takes every one of us. It takes a society.
