I am beyond excited to announce that I will be participating in the Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock - an event that brings together local police agencies and emergency service personnel to support children and families living with cancer. As a member of the Canadian Armed Forces Military Police, I am honored to represent Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt in this important initiative.
As we gear up for the ride, I am reminded of the countless families who are impacted by pediatric cancer each year. Although I have been fortunate enough to not have anyone close to me affected by this disease, I have heard of the devastating impact it has on the lives of those affected and their loved ones. That's why I am so passionate about this cause, and why I am asking for your help.
The funds raised through this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in their efforts to discover new pediatric cancer research and provide 600 children each year with the chance to attend Camp Goodtimes - a medically supervised recreation experience for kids and teens affected by cancer and their families. Every dollar you donate will make a difference in the lives of those affected by this disease.
I humbly ask for your support in our fundraising efforts. By donating today, you can help us reach our goal and make a world of difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Thank you for your generosity and support. Together, we can help make a brighter future for those in need.
With your support, we’re helping people live longer and enhancing their quality of life.
