Over this past year, we all have been affected by Covid-19 and trying our best to keep our family and friends safe. Hearing all the sad stories on the news about people getting sick is quite upsetting. This year I decided to take an initiative to contribute to a good cause in supporting the mission for Canadian Cancer Society for Childhood Cancer Research.
I'm proud to have an opportunity to participate in Cops for Cancer. At the end of September, I will be cycling 100km per day over 5 days in support of Cops for Cancer with 100+ other law enforcement officers from different agencies. This is a partnership between first responders and the Canadian Cancer Society to support children living with cancer and their families. The Cops of Cancer is an exciting annual event fundraising for childhood cancer research and support services at the Canadian Cancer Society. Donations are used to fund life-saving pediatric cancer research and caring support programs like Camp Goodtimes, a medically supervised recreation experience for children and teens affected by cancer and their families.
I've set the goal to meet $4000 and I'm hoping we can reach that goal. Your support is key to helping people live longer and enhancing their quality of life. Please help me support Cops for Cancer by making a donation through my page. The process is fast, easy and secure. I understand everyone's personal situation is different so there is absolutely no pressure to donate, but if you are able to and feel this is a worthy cause. I appreciate your consideration.
Thank you so much for your support and please don't forget to send this page to any friends you think might be interested in donating!
