I am participating in Cops for Cancer to support the mission of the Canadian Cancer Society.
I am partaking in this event by means of my Unit Chief, Rachelle Cole's fundraising and training team. As well as being a community paramedic, Unit Chief and fantastic mentor to myself and anyone looking for guidance at BC ambulance, Rachelle is also the only BCEHS participant in this year's upcoming tour de rock! As a long time cyclist, and daughter of a 2002 Tour de Rock participant, I am proud to be a part of her fundraising team. The money raised from this event helps fund leading-edge cancer research that is improving cancer treatments, preventing cancer and saving lives; provide reliable and up-to-date information on cancer, risk reduction and treatment; offer vital community-based support services for people living with cancer and their families; and advocate for healthy public policies.
Please make a donation on my behalf and help our team reach our fundraising goal! Every donation takes us one step further to creating a world where no one fears cancer. Donating online is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.
