Tour de Coast 2024: Team Hemphill - Canadian Cancer Society

Tour de Coast 2024

Team Hemphill

I am participating in Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast 2024 for which local police agencies and emergency service personnel will ride 800km along the BC Coast to support children and families living with cancer and beyond.

The money raised from this event will support the Canadian Cancer Society in fueling new pediatric cancer research discoveries and sending 600 kids each year to Camp Goodtimes, a local medically-supervised recreation experience for children and teens affected by cancer and their families.

Friends and family will say "Kristyanne, you don't ask for help AND you don't ride a bicycle!!!" Yes, that is correct! I have never been on a road bicycle and asking for help has never been something that comes easy to me. The learning curve will be steep. There will be ups and downs! So, I need your help to be successful in my journey. I am fully committed to accomplishing 2 major things:

1: Learning how to ride a road bike for 800 km!

2: Fundraising (asking for your help) to raise $6000.00 for this awesome cause.

Please make any donation on my behalf and help me reach my fundraising goal! Donating online is secure and it saves the Canadian Cancer Society money by reducing administrative costs.

Thanks for your support!
