What is Pink in the Rink 2021?

The Canadian Cancer Society is partnering with the Peterborough Petes Hockey Organization for the 12th year to raise money to support women’s cancer research. On February 6, 2021 the Pete’s will take on the Oshawa Generals on the ice at the Peterborough Memorial Centre. Although the arena will not be full of fans, YourTV Peterborough is partnering with CCS to air the game as well as a pre-game show.

Are Pink in the Rink T-shirts available this year?

Yes, and MUCH more!! New this is year is our online Pink in the Rink merchandise store! Go to www.pinkintherink.ricarts.ca to check our large variety of products including hoodies, hats and blankets. All orders placed by November 30th will be ready for Christmas!

Will there be special jerseys auctioned off?

As there will not be a game this year, jersey's will not be produced. There will be two 2020 Jersey's in the online auction.

Can I a buy a name for the jersey this year?

Unfortunately, we will not be adding names to the jerseys for this year. If you have previously purchased a name you will be sent an email and will be able to submit a picture of your loved one that will be shown during the pre game video.

I usually buy a ticket, is that still possible?

Due to health precautions we will not be selling tickets to the game. We will be asking regular ticket purchasers to make a $20 donation to the event instead by clicking the donate button on our main page.

I like to buy items at the game night silent auction, will auction items be available?

Yes! We will be having an online auction in the week prior to game night!

Do I get a tax receipt for my donation?

Yes, charitable tax receipts will be issued for any donations made.

For offline donations, charitable receipts for donations of $20 or more will be issues. If you would like a receipt for a donation of less than $20, please contact our Donor Care team via email or by calling 1-888-939-3333.

Why wasn’t my credit card accepted?

There are several reasons a credit card might not be accepted. You might want to check that you have typed in the number correctly, that the expiry date is correct and that the name you’ve typed in appears exactly as it does on the card. If you would like further information, please contact your local Canadian Cancer Society community office.
