Thank you for your interest in Golf Fore the Cure! We’ve tried to answer any questions you may have, but if we’ve missed something, please contact us so, we can help you.
Golf Fore the Cure is a partnership between Golf Canada and the Canadian Cancer Society, through which golfers plan, coordinate, and host fundraising events or tournaments while raising money for the breast cancer cause.
These events or tournaments are held anywhere the game is played such as golf courses, driving ranges, mini putt facilities, etc. and with activities that involve swinging a golf club.
Each year, thousands of women across the country are making a difference in the lives of Canadians affected by breast cancer, one round at a time, through Golf Fore the Cure.
This year, your support of Golf Fore the Cure is more important than ever. During the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond, the Canadian Cancer Society’s vitally important support system is helping people affected by breast cancer better manage life with cancer, find community and connection and build wellness and resilience throughout their cancer journey.

As a community of golfers, we want to be able to quantify the impact we are making against breast cancer. This is why the Canadian Cancer Society requires Golf Fore the Cure tournament coordinators to remit their funds to the Canadian Cancer Society’s national office so that they can keep track of the funds raised by golfers across Canada.
To reduce administration expenses, the Canadian Cancer Society operates on a national model to ensure that the money you’re donating has the biggest possible impact. The charity’s donation processing team is based out of their national office and can ensure the funds you raise are allocated to either breast cancer research or support services. Please note, the charity’s local offices do not have the capacity to track and designate funds raised through Golf Fore the Cure events. Rest assured that funds raised through Golf For the Cure are changing the lives of local women for the better.
