Bucks for BooB's is a family friendly fundraiser we do for a few hours on July 1st in the village of Breton Alberta. 100% of the proceeds goes for Breast Cancer Research.

Bucks for BooB's actually started out as a practical joke on a friend of mine. We told her we entered her into a Wet T-shirt Contest! When she started asking questions we had to come up with answers. So came the birth of Bucks for BooB's!

The first year 2016 we did a Wet T-shirt fundraiser. Some of the town folk were against this, but we went ahead anyway and raised 1350.00. There were a few hitches in our giddy-up but that did not deter us. The next year 2017 we made it into a Car Wash and added a Balloon Dart game. We got rained on but still had fun and raised 1536.00. Determined to do better in 2018 we added a Spinning Wheel and a Disc Drop (Plinko) game. Again, we got rained on but managed to raise 2166.60! Deciding that the rain wasn't doing the Car Wash any favors we decided to just go with the games. So, in 2019 we had a great set- up also brought in Rodzilla the Magician! But of course, Mother Nature had ideas of her own and it was canceled for July 1st. We did a redo in Aug, didn't have alot of people but still managed to raise 1424.75! Then covid hit and we've been on hold. But we are a very determined bunch, so we are coming back again this year bigger and better!!
